BMW Integral Active Steering 整合式主動轉向系統

整合式主動轉向系統是獨特的車輪結合方式,

後輪隨車轉動,前輪則採用Active Steering 主動式轉向系統。

當車速未達60km/h 時,後輪會朝著與前輪「相反」的方向轉動3度,

同時,Active Steering 主動式轉向系統也會增加前輪的轉向角度,

相互配合下,獲得前所未聞的靈活度。

而當車速超過80km/h 時,後輪則朝著與前輪「相同」的方向轉動3度,

如此一來,可以減少橫向的推力,大幅提升車輛在高速時的穩定性和安全性。

Integral Active Steering in the BMW 7 Series Sedan.

The optional Integral Active Steering system which varies the steering angle of the rear wheels increases safety, stability and comfort to particularly benefit rear-seat passengers. At higher speeds Integral Active Steering ensures extremely comfortable and superior response on the road when changing lanes and in bends. At low speeds the car's turning circle is decreased to significantly enhance agility and nimble performance. In addition to the enhancement of stability in quick direction changes, Active Steering also ensures even greater superiority and better handling in brake manoeuvres.
